Madden Team

Matti can be recognized by the many cups of coffee on his desk, his piercing blue eyes, and the turbo-paced clatter from his keyboard. He is also one of the nicest guys you’ll come across. At Madden, we’re happy to have his full stack skills to develop and maintain top-tier features.

Hello Matti, how did you end up at Madden Analytics?

After finishing my degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Linköping University, I went on to work as a software developer for larger companies in consulting and finance.

Around this time last year, a former colleague of mine reached out to me about Madden Analytics, a startup that he had recently joined. They were looking to extend their team with a full-stack developer. I was intrigued by the idea of working at a startup and after seeing the product and meeting the team the decision to hop on board was a no-brainer.

How did you get good at what you do?

Enjoying what I do and spending a lot of time doing it!

I work with software development but it also happens to be a big interest of mine. I learned to code during my computer science studies and have not stopped since.

What about your job would surprise people?

The amount of time that we do not spend in meetings. Working in a small, available, and tight team developing a product from scratch eliminates most of the hurdles that are responsible for clogging up calendars.
